Key Objectives
Enable Knowledge Exchange
Serve as a common platform for the exchange of ideas, best practices, and innovative strategies to strengthen CSR initiatives in the public health sector.
Strengthen CSR Capacity & Governance
Provide support through research, capacity building, advisory services, training, evaluation, advocacy, and standard-setting to enhance effective CSR implementation and monitoring in public health and allied sectors.
Promote Multi-Stakeholder Collaboration
Facilitate dialogue and collaboration among corporates, NGOs, academic institutions, and government bodies to develop scalable, impactful, and replicable CSR health models.
Provide Institutional & Technical Support
Offer institutional and technical assistance, directly or indirectly, to organizations and individuals committed to promoting responsible and transparent CSR practices across Maharashtra.

Develop partnerships with national and international institutions promoting CSR and sustainable development, enabling cross-learning, joint research, and collaborative initiatives in the areas of health, nutrition, sanitation, and overall well-being.Support Evidence-Based CSR Initiatives
Collaborate with and extend support to individuals, organizations, and institutions that demonstrate impactful, measurable, and evidence-based CSR practices across Maharashtra.Maintain a Statewide CSR Partner Database
Create and maintain a comprehensive, verified database of credible implementing agencies, NGOs, and social enterprises, enabling corporates to identify reliable partners for CSR projects in public health and allied sectors.Establish the Maharashtra CSR Health Fund
Facilitate the creation of a Maharashtra CSR Health Fund with contributions from public sector undertakings (PSUs), private sector companies, and donor organizations, ensuring transparent governance, accountability, and optimal utilization of funds through sustainable mechanisms.Implement Strategic State-Level CSR Projects
Plan, coordinate, and implement CSR projects of strategic importance to the State, particularly in the areas of health infrastructure, maternal and child health, nutrition, mental health, sanitation, and disease prevention, in collaboration with credible implementing partners.

Public Health & Preventive Care
Public health initiatives including preventive healthcare, sanitation, hygiene promotion, and disease prevention and control.Skill Development & Livelihood Enhancement
Promotion of skill development and livelihood opportunities, with special focus on youth and women engaged in the healthcare and allied ecosystems.Early Childhood Development
Strengthening early childhood care and development, including nutrition, health, and cognitive growth of pre-school and Anganwadi-age children.Healthcare Innovation & Technology
Support for innovation, research, and technology incubation in healthcare, digital health, and medical technology sectors within the State of Maharashtra.Statutory CSR Activities
Any other activities prescribed under the Companies Act, 2013 and the Companies (Corporate Social Responsibility Policy) Rules, 2014, as amended from time to time.Incidental & Ancillary Activities
Any other activity or initiative incidental, ancillary, or conducive to the achievement of the above objectives, in alignment with the policies, priorities, and programs of the Government of Maharashtra.
